Day 29

Elihu paints a great picture of God's greatness and majesty. He provides a great description of the God we serve! Chapter 36 verse 29, "Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of His pavilion?" Verse 32-33 "He covers His hands with the lightning and commands it to strike the mark. Its crashing declares His presence..."

It is something to think that God commands the lightning to strike where it strikes. When one sees a bolt of lightning, it appears to be random, having many branches and by no means straight. But God is in control of the lightning and says exactly where it should go!

Elihu also some great advice: chapter 37 verse 14, "...stop and consider the wondrous works of God." Wow! Stop, take time in your day, put down what you are doing, and consider the wondrous works of God!
