What a great Psalm that shows how much one should adore the word of the Lord!

Verse 9 stood out to me today. It says, "How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word."

How can we stay pure? How can we fully rely on the Lord? How can we please God in all we do? By living according to His word.

I have been truly enjoying these readings for the past 6 months or so. I have drawn closer to the Lord, and are trusting Him more and more every day. I believe this is what the author of Psalm 119 is talking about when he says, guard your way according to His word.

What an amazing tool we have in the Bible to draw closer to the Lord and fully rely on Him.
