I know I am blessed. I have an amazing wife, great son, great friends, warm house, good job, the list goes on. I know I do not deserve all that I have, but I am thankful to the Lord for what He has blessed me with.
However, I still have trouble trusting. I am finding out the hard way that I need Him and cannot do anything on my own.
Whenever I am in the word, it is so clear that the Lord will take care of me and bless me. Psalm 128 verses 1 and 2 say, "Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His way! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed and it shall be well with you."
The Lord has made it very clear to me that I need to trust Him in all things. However, the limitations of my mind hinder me from completely trusting in Him. I will continue to pray and strive toward fearing and trusting the Lord in all things.
