Day 218

What a ride Daniel was on! First his city is taken by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. Then he is taken and educated. Finally he is brought before the king as a test and he blows the king away!

I bet if you asked Daniel when he was young, if he would believe that he would be standing in front of the king of Babylon, he would have laughed and not believed it. Daniel did not grow up preparing to stand in front of the king of Babylon. He had no idea.

But God did! God had it in His plan all along for Daniel and his friends to be captured, educated then blow the pants off of Nebuchadnezzar! Daniel chapter 1 verse 17 says, "As for these four youths, God gave them learning and skill in all literature and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams."

God had it in His plan for Daniel and his three friends to be in front of Nebuchadnezzar and God equipped them with all they needed to impress the king; to fulfill the Lord's plan.

And that holds true for me too. I never thought that I would move to Texas, work in the Aerospace Industry, have a wife and son and one on the way, and do all that I have done, but God did. And the best part of it all is, He equipped me with all I needed to accomplish what He had planned for me!

I continue to trust in Him to equip me with all I need to accomplish what He has in store for me and I know He is with me always and will bless me beyond measure; even more than He already has!
