In Zechariah chapter 3, Zechariah has a vision of Joshua the High Priest. Joshua is standing before an angel of the Lord and Satan is standing next to him to accuse him.
Chapter 3 verses 2 through 4 say, "And the Lord said to Satan, 'The Lord rebuke you, O Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!...' And the angel said to those who were standing before him, 'Remove the filthy garments from him.' And to him he said, 'Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.'"
What a great picture of what the Lord did for us as well! He has stripped us of our filthy garments; our iniquities, and has put on pure garments. He has washed us clean and made us pure in His eyes.
Thank you Lord for making me pure.
