What an amazing illustration! Jesus, at the last supper, gets down and washes his disciples's feet! He shows by example what we are meant to be. We are meant to be servants.
Jesus requires that we serve others. He requires that we show others that we are lesser, humble servants of the Lord, and that means serving others and sharing the love of Christ with them.
I need to keep this in mind every day that I am not here to be served but to serve!
