I really like the analogy Jesus uses in John chapter 15 verses 1 and 2. They say, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit."
The Lord is my God and He is constantly working on me. He is pruning me and removing the dead parts, the withered parts of me that no longer bear fruit; that no longer give Him glory, so I can feed the good in me. He is constantly at work in me to make me more like Him!
I feel He has done a lot of work in me since the start of these readings, however, I feel like He has a lot more work to do in me! I look forward to being molded and pruned further to not only display His beauty in me, but also bear more fruit for Him!
