Day 316

Again I see the reactions of believers and I can relate.

Peter was imprisoned and sentenced to death. A group of believers gathered together to pray for Peter. An angel appeared to Peter in the cell at night and helped him escape! Peter then went to the house where everyone was praying and told them he was okay.

Acts 12 verse 16 says, "But Peter continued knocking and when they opened, the saw him and were amazed."

It is quite often amazing to me too when the Lord answers prayer! After thinking about it, I am not sure why it is so surprising, but it is wonderful to know that the Lord answers prayer!

What an awesome and all powerful God we serve! A God capable of doing anything and a God who answers prayer! Praise be to the Lord!
