Day 328

It is always good to review the basics of the faith. This is done in today's reading.

Romans 3 verses 23 and 24 say, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."

The basics: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We do not deserve to be saved! However, by His grace and mercy, we are justified, we are forgiven, through the redemption in Christ Jesus. We have done nothing to earn this forgiveness. It is a gift from Christ. We are helpless to save ourselves. It is only through Christ that we are saved!

We thank God, and in response to this, we live to give Him all glory and honor and praise! What an awesome God we serve!
