Day 355

Hebrews 13 strikes a chord for me today. Verse 5 says, "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"

In other words, do not dwell on your finances. Instead, be content with what you have, for the Lord will never leave us or forsake us! This is the lesson I have been trying to learn over the last year or so. The author of Hebrews sums this issue and how to deal with it in one verse. I believe this shows how little it is to God!

I am trying so hard! Scripture such as what was read yesterday that define what faith really is help tremendously. I believe that once I an through with the Bible in just 10 more days, I will be equipped to handle any issues that come my way through faith in Christ.

Now I will just have to put it into action as James and others talk about.

I thank God for the book, the Bible, He has given us to handle this life! Without it, I would be lost!
