There are many names for the Lord. Among those is the name Prince of Peace. I like this name because, to me, it implies that all peace goes through Him.
Isaiah 57 verse 21 says, "'There is no peace,' says my God, 'for the wicked.'" If the Lord is the Prince of Peace and all peace goes through Him, which I believe it does, those who do not have their souls rooted in Christ do not know peace.
Peace to me is one of the greatest things about being a Christian. No matter what happens in my life or what situation I am in, I know that the Lord is with me and wherever I am is God's plan. I have no reason to worry, but instead find peace in knowing I am not in control of my life.
Thank you Lord for being the Prince of Peace and the one source for all peace if we only trust in You!
