Day 261

There were a few verses that hit me as being very interesting in the reading for today. Nehemiah 6 verses 15 and 16 say, "So the wall was finished...in fifty-two days. And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God."

I think it is so cool that other people saw the work that was done and realized that the Lord was part of it. They saw that their God was with them and "fell greatly in their own esteem." What a way to show the power and presence of the Lord than through the work that one does.

I pray that others will see the work that I do and see the Lord is with me. I also pray that others will realize this and humble themselves before the Lord.
