Day 322

I find it fascinating how even the evil spirits knew Jesus. They had never met him before on Earth, but they still know him. There were men who were using both Jesus and Paul's name to try and drive out evil spirits.

Acts 19 verse 15 says, "But the evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?'"

First of all, it is only by faith in Christ that this could have been done. Second, the evil spirit said he knew Jesus; not just recognized or heard of, but knew. This goes to show that Jesus has even conquered Satan! He has conquered the evil spirits and is Lord of all! What an awesome and worthy God we serve!
