Day 173

In Isaiah chapter 6 verse 8, the Lord asks, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Isaiah responds quickly and says, "Here am I! Send me."

Isaiah is willing to do whatever the Lord asks and he doesn't even know what he is tasked to do yet. He fully relies on God and trusts Him completely.

I read a quote from Mother Teresa yesterday. It said, "I know God won't give me anything I can't handle...I just wish He didn't trust me so much!" However, she was also one that said, "Here am I! Send me."

I believe God has blessed me significantly and trusted me with much. I have an interview today where the Lord may be trusting me with a lot more! I am a little nervous, but rather than being nervous, I have to say, "Here am I! Send me."

I trust my Lord to know what is good and perfect for me to do to fulfill His plan. I rest in that comfort.
