Day 187

I have been reading the Bible every day for the past 187 days. I have already learned so much and I look forward to the next 180 days or so.

Psalm 1 verses 1 and 2 say, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night."

I find that statement interesting. Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord. To me, the definition of delight is to take joy in and not get enough of. I believe this verse is saying that's how to read the word. I do enjoy reading each day, so much so that I long to read the Bible now, but I am not sure I have the mentality of delighting in the reading. I have to keep this mentality for each reading.
