Day 344

In Philippians 2 verses 3 through 8, Paul uses Christ as an example of how we ourselves should act. It says, "In humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is your in Christ Jesus, who though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross."

This is saying be humble like Christ was. Christ was God in human form. Yet, He was a servant to others and even died on a cross, a humiliating death.

We as Christians are called to be humble, and most of all, put others first. We are meant to serve and not be served. This is a good lesson we can get from Christ and is something we should remember every day.
