Yesterday I talked about the Word of the Lord and how it is breathed by God. Today, Hebrews 4 verses 12 and 13 expand on that. They say, "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account."
Whoa! Those are some powerful words! First of all, the word of God is living and active. It is alive within all Christians, and moving with the help of the Holy Spirit. Also, no creature is hidden from His sight! He is above all, loves all, and governs all.
The Lord is powerful, and His Word is powerful. It pierces like a double edged sword! I cannot under-estimate the power of the Lord or His word.
