This passage gives an in depth description of what the Lord wanted His tabernacle, alter, ark of the covenant and the priests to look like.
What is described here sounds amazing! Everything going into the tabernacle was covered in pure gold. The tabernacle itself was lined with purple and blue fabrics and even the priests were dressed with rare gems in their garments when coming before the Lord.
This makes me wonder if we have become to relaxed when we come to church. We come in jeans and a nice shirt, but that doesn't even compare to what was worn by Aaron when approaching the Lord in the tabernacle. I wonder if the Lord wants to see us dressed better when we come before Him in His house, the church?
