"Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle." (chapter 40 verse 34) "For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys." (chapter 40 verse 38)
How cool that must have been to physically see the presence of God filling their holy place. They see a cloud by day and fire at night! I wish I could have seen the "appearance of fire" (Numbers 9 verse 15) at night. What a constant reminder of the presence of God!
I wonder how often I miss seeing the presence of God today. I don't think it is as obvious as a cloud of fire, but I do believe His presence is here constantly. I think if I keep my eyes open, I will see Him everywhere! I just need to keep my eyes open.
