Day 48

The reading for today talks about several types of offerings including sin offerings. I paid close attention to this section because I know Christ was eventually my sin offering forever.

I found it interesting to read in chapter 4 verse 3 "...bringing guilt on the people, then he shall offer for the sin that he has committed a bull from the herd without blemish to the Lord for a sin offering."

I read this and saw the parallelism to Christ and His death. When there is guilt on all the people, the only thing that can redeem all of them is "...a bull from the herd without blemish..." or a man born of this world without sin.

Christ died for us and was the perfect one to sacrifice Himself for the redemption of all of us who are guilty of sin. Thank You for Your sacrifice.
