How honorable of a man David must have been! David went to live with the Philistines after Saul promised not to harm him and he found favor with the king of the Philistines. So much so, the king made David his bodyguard when going into battle against the Israelites!
How much trust in a man does it take to have him by your side when going into battle against his people and his land? That to me speaks volumes about David!
I want to be like David in that I can be trusted by all who I give my word. This will also be my prayer.
