When I screw up, when something bad happens, when I drift away from Christ and come to a point when I need Him, when I am afraid, when I am scared, I run to Him and I find Him.
Chapter 4 verses 29 through 31 tell me that I will always find Him, "But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, you will return to the LORD your God and obey his voice. For the LORD your God is a merciful God.He will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them."
What a comfort this is! What a merciful God I serve! Even when I stray away from Him, He is always there to run back to. Thank you God for being faithful to me, even when I am not always faithful to You. And thank you for being there through all my tribulations as a comfort and a rock.
