Day 240

The Lord is also the great humbler.

Obadiah is speaking of Edom and how they feel they can't be defeated. However, they have become too proud. Obadiah verses 2 and 3 say, "Behold, I will make you small among the nations; you shall be utterly despised. The pride of your heart has deceived you..."

I like that statement; The pride of your heart has deceived you. That is a humbling statement.

I wonder how often this statement can be used with me. I wonder how often I become too proud. However, I know that the Lord is with me. He will keep me humble and mold me into what He wants me to be.

I have to be conscious about not being too proud.
