Day 297

My son has a book about Whistler the Dog. It is a story based on Mark 11 verse 24. It is a children's book, but it has time and again been exactly what I needed to hear.

Again Jesus talks about faith. Mark 11 verses 22 through 24 says, "And Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.'"

To me, this is so profound! What power prayer has! The only difficult part is not doubting in your heart. We as humans on this Earth are influenced by the world around us, and therefore, are introduced to doubt. But if we rid ourselves of doubt, we can move mountains!

I need to focus on removing all doubt, because with the Lord, there is no reason to doubt.
