Through this reading, I am also trying to deepen my faith and understanding so I can speak confidently of the word.
Right now, I believe I miss opportunities to speak of the Lord and all He has done because I am not confident enough to speak on behalf of the Bible. I know that when situations arise, the Holy Spirit is with me and He will speak through me and for me. However, I need the confidence to speak.
Jesus, when He spoke, spoke with confidence and with knowledge. As a result, He was able to fend off all traps and attacks on Himself (Luke 20 verse 40).
This reading is helping to strengthen my confidence and give me what I need to speak up when talking about my Lord. I will do what I can to speak up and not back down when confronted about my Lord!
