What a great picture! Psalm 61 verse 2 and 3, "Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy."
My Refuge. My Strong Tower. I believe David is trying to tell us that there is safety in the Lord. He will protect me. I can run to Him and He will be there for me. He will always be my constant and I can always trust Him.
I love the song "Strong Tower" by Kutless. It is taken from this Psalm and it really speaks of God's character.
Thank you Lord, for being my Strong Tower.
