What a loving and merciful God we serve! Ezekiel 34 talks about the people of the Lord being scattered like sheep with no shepherd. They fall away from the Lord.
But Ezekiel 34 verse 11 says, "...Behold I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out."
If one of the Lord's sheep, one of His children, wanders away, the Lord Himself will seek them out! What a loving God to not give up on us, even if we try to give up on Him! God has a love for us that we cannot comprehend. If we wander away, He is going to search for us!
What a comfort to know that the Lord is my God and He will not let me wander, but will chase after me and seek me out if I wander astray. What a loving God I serve!
