Day 280

I am consistently amazed at the faith of others. A woman suffering from a disease for the past 12 years could not be healed by any doctors or anyone else. But she had the faith to just touch the cloak of Jesus and she knew that she would be healed.

When Jesus confronted her about touching His cloak, she responded with why she touched Him and also let Him know that she was immediately healed!

Then Jesus responds in Luke 8 verse 48, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace."

That is interesting. Her faith has made her well. This implies that if she had touched Jesus's cloak and not believed, she would not have been healed.

I wonder how many opportunities are missed by us when we do not believe. I wonder how many blessings are available to us that we do not receive because we do not have faith.

It is only by faith that we live in Christ.
