Day 300

I fell very blessed to be a Christian in the United States. Here we are not persecuted for what we believe, but accepted, and in certain areas, encouraged. But there are others who are being persecuted for the Lord. I can't imagine the pressure when witnessing to say the right things.

But Jesus gives some advice on this. Luke 21 verses 14 through 15 says, "Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict."

Jesus is saying, when we are witnessing for the Lord, do not worry about what you will say! The Holy Spirit will handle that! Just have faith and trust the Lord to speak of Him and witness!

I have a difficult time with this. I do not feel confident enough in my faith to talk about it with others. But with this, I know that the Lord will put the right words in my mouth and the Holy Spirit will take it from there! I just have to have the nerve to speak!
