Day 294

I consider myself to be a rich person. Not necessarily in monetary possessions, but rather in the family that I have, the friends that I have, and other similar things.

So I found it interesting in Matthew 19 verse 24 says, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."

This concerns me a little bit! Does that mean that all that I have to consider myself rich must be taken away in order to enter the kingdom of heaven?

Thankfully, the Lord answers my question a few verses later. Verse 26 says, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Whew! There is a chance! However, I do believe that this does not come easy! I must devote my entire self to the Lord and trust Him completely. I trust Him to pull this camel through the eye of a needle because I know only He can do it.
