Day 284

In today's reading, Jesus feeds 4,000 men. The thing about this story is the lack of faith by the disciples.

Jesus had compassion on the people and told His disciples that they need to feed the people before they go home, otherwise they will not make it.

Mark 8 verse 4 says, "And His disciples answered Him, 'How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?'"

Are you kidding me? A few chapters ago, Jesus fed 5,000 men with nothing but scraps! Why would they even ask this question when they know what Jesus can do?

But at the same time, I look at myself. I do the same thing! I have seen what Jesus can do, but I still question Him! I still ask Him how. Jesus can do all things. Why then do I question Him? Why then do I doubt?
