What an amazing God we serve! Whenever we feel insecure, or are troubled, we can remember what Jesus offers us in John 16 verse 33. He says, "In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."
Wow! How profound that is! Jesus says that we will have tribulation, not that we may. It is a certainty. But the comfort in that is knowing that there is hope! Jesus has overcome the world! There is not reason to fear or be worried. Jesus has overcome!
I rest in that comfort!
