Again I find it fascinating how the Lord shocks and awes! The guards at the tomb saw the angel rolling away of the stone and felt the earthquake. The only reaction they had was to shake and become like dead men!
How amazing the Lord's resurrection is! But that is not all! Not only His resurrection, but also His love, His grace, His mercy, His forgiveness, and His power also are so splendid, that the only rational reaction is to shake and become like dead men! His characteristics are so overwhelming that we cannot even move, or think. All we can do is be still in shock and awe!
That is my God.
