Genesis 1 is one of the most common passages in the Bible, but it was good to read it again. I found it interesting that verse 26 starts out, "Then God said, 'Let us make man...'" The word that got me was "us". In chapter one, is God already introducing us to the Trinity? Is he referencing God the Father and the Holy Spirit only, or does this include God the Son, Christ, as well.
This was always stressed as important, but I did not see it as being so important it belongs in the first chapter of the first book. I hope I am able to explore this as I continue.
