Joseph's whole family packs up all of their things and they all move to Egypt to Joseph. This is so neat! You can see the love Jacob has for his son in that he would pack up all he had and move to another country to be with him.
Both Joseph and the Pharaoh are very welcoming when they come and give them the best of the land. I find it interesting in chapter 46 verse 34, Joseph says "...for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians." That is quite the statement! But Joseph has faith that Pharaoh will treat them well and will be welcoming. Pharaoh is so welcoming, he puts a few of Joseph's relatives in charge of the livestock of the Egyptians! Whoa!
This is so cool in that Pharaoh puts his differences aside and welcomes the family of his friend into his land.
