Reading the Bible sometimes scares me. It reveals things to me that make me uneasy. Proverbs 5 verse 21 is one of those passages. It says, "For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths."
God sees all that I do. Not only that, but He also ponders and dwells on them! I know I am by no means a perfect person. Some of the things I do displease even me. So to hear that the Lord not only sees, but ponders all of these shows me just how merciful of a God He is. If He were not, I would not feel Him and see Him in all places. I believe His presence would no longer be with me since I would be too dirty.
So I thank the Lord for being merciful to me. I thank Him for being forgiving and loving and for always being there, even when I am not always faithful to Him. Thank you Lord.
