I am continually amazed at the wisdom and concepts of Solomon. Chapter 7 verses 3 and 4 say, "Sorrow is better than laughter, for by sadness of face the heart is made glad. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth."
This concept spoke to me. Sorrow is better than laughter because it makes the heart glad and the mind wise. I believe this to be true. This doesn't mean all I want is sorrow, but through my past sorrows, I have grown the most.
I believe one must face many sorrows and struggles in life to be truly wise and happy. It is important to continue to learn through the sorrows.
