Day 151

This passage was filled with great wisdom. It also covered a broad range. It talked about how the paths of man lead to death, but the paths of God leads to wisdom and life. It talked about how it is better to have little in God rather than riches without Him. It also talked about being slow to anger.

Proverbs 16 verse 32 says, "Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city."

Being able to control your anger is better than the mighty and strong. It is better than one who takes an entire city! I believe this shows how much God values one who can control themselves. Proverbs 14 verse 17 says, "A man of quick temper acts foolishly..."

I believe the Lord greatly values one who is slow to anger and who can control his temper. Therefore, I will continue to do all that I can to be patient and slow to anger.
