Day 211

In this passage, Jeremiah is talking about the men of Israel and Judah. Both have become sinful in the eyes of the Lord. However, the Lord is merciful and will take them back.

Jeremiah 4 verses 1 and 2 say, "If you return, O Israel...If you remove your detestable things from My presence, and do not waver, and if you swear, 'As the Lord lives,' in truth, in justice, and in righteousness, then nations shall bless themselves in Him, and in Him shall they glory."

Our God is good! Even when we sin and do everything to push the Lord away, He still sticks with us! He says, "If you return to me, purify yourselves and do not waver; if you acknowledge the Lord is above truth, justice and righteousness, then you will be blessed.

That is great news, but also a challenge to purify ourselves, and also believe the Lord is above all things and trust in Him.

I know this is all for the good, so I will continue to strive to trust in Him for everything without wavering.
