Day 221

There was a verse that struck me this morning. Jeremiah 13 verse 23 says, "Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to doing evil."

This is an interesting concept to me. It is saying that if one practices evil, or if one is accustomed to sinning, how can that person do good? How can that person be pure?

I am finding that living for Christ is a continuous act and practice, not just when people are around or when I am at church. I believe that is what this verse is saying too. If one does not practice good, how can good come from them?

This is good to think about and work on. How can we be good examples to others for Christ when we are not good examples of Christ at home?
