Day 214

I really enjoyed reading Habakkuk. He poses some great questions that are still relevant today.

The one that stood out the most for me was the first one. Chapter 1 verse 2 says, "O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear?"

I have been there too where it seems as though the Lord has left me and is no longer there. I know this isn't true, but sometimes it can seem like it when there is no response.

But the Lord answers Habakkuk in chapter 1 verse 5. It says, "Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told."

The Lord is doing great things, especially when I feel He is not there. It is on us to open our eyes and look. See Him and be astounded. He is here and doing so much more than I could ever believe! That is my God!
