Day 212

I think I found a new role model in Josiah. He became king at 8 years old and faithfully follows after the Lord's heart.

Josiah ordered for the cleanup and purification of the temple of the Lord. When doing so, the Book of the Covenant was found. After hearing from this book, Josiah gathered all his officials, and all the people together and read the Book of the Covenant. He then committed, along with all the people, to follow what was written in that book.

Josiah, even at his young age, took control, saw a need for reform, and made it so. He took a stand for the Lord.

We can never be too young to take a stand for the Lord. I pray I can be like Josiah and stand up for the Lord when called to do so.
