Day 213

The book of Nahum describes destruction and torment of Nineveh. However, it also gives a further description of the Lord.

Nahum 1 verse 3 says, "The Lord is slow to anger and great in power..."

It is such a comfort to me to know that the Lord is slow to anger. I am a sinner, I confess. I know I do not please him on a regular basis. However, I also know that He is slow to anger and has the power to forgive.

I thank the Lord for His slow temper and his ability to forgive.
