Day 222

Again today, I am reminded to trust. Jeremiah 17 verses 7 and 8 say, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."

I really like this analogy. The man who trusts is like a tree that sends its roots out by the stream. With a strong root system, the tree cannot be shaken and can withstand anything that is brought upon it.

Plain and simple; trust in the Lord and you will be able to withstand.
