Day 233

Today there was a verse that spoke to me. It is a unique verse, but I believe it says something important.

Ezekiel 20 verse 39 says, "As for you, O house of Israel, thus says the Lord God: Go serve every one of you his idols, now and hereafter, if you will not listen to me; but My holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and your idols."

To me, the Lord is saying if one will not listen and obey and be righteous, okay. But do not speak of Me or act in My name. This profanes Me.

If someone is not righteous, do not claim to be a child of God! This only brings the Lord down and does not give Him glory. We must be good examples of the Lord and be righteous to speak of Him and claim Him as our Lord and Savior.
