Ezekiel lived in Babylon and was called by God to prophesy to the people of Israel. Ezekiel saw a glimpse of the Glory of the Lord when he saw the creatures. The creatures sparkled like burnished bronze. Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring crystal.
These are just a glimpse of the glory that makes up the Lord. I cannot imagine what the day will be like when I see my Lord in heaven with all those who have gone before me. I look forward to seeing all creatures glorifying God!
I will continue to pray for that day.
