Chapter 26 talks about tithes. It talks about the Israelites and what they are to do once they enter into the promised land. Among other things, they are to take the firstfruits and offer them to the Lord.
Verses 10 and 11 say, "...And you shall set [the firstfruits] down before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God. And you shall rejoice in all the good that the Lord your God has given to you and to your house..."
The Lord has given me and my house a lot of good. I am very blessed in that we are all healthy, we have enough to get by, and we are even moving into a house this week. We have families that love us and support us in all that we do and friends as well that are always there for us when we need them.
Every day I rejoice in the good that the Lord my God has given me and my house, and I will continue to rejoice. Thank you Lord, for all you have blessed me and my house with.
These verses also say to bring your tithe to the Lord and then rejoice. I have to work on giving with a rejoicing heart.
