In this passage, Moses passes his authority over to his successor, Joshua. Moses takes Joshua in front of all Israel and charges him and says in verses 7 and 8, "...Be strong and courageous...It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."
What a great charge for Joshua and for me as well. I have no reason to fear, for the Lord has gone before me, He will be with me and never leave me. Therefore, I am able to be strong and courageous in all that I do! Thank you Lord for always being there!
