This blows my mind. The Lord burned with anger for one person, Achan, so much so, He allowed all of Israel be defeated by the people of Ai.
Once Achan was found out and killed, the Lord's anger ceased and He gave Ai into their hands.
This says a lot of how serious disobeying is to the Lord. Where the sins of one person can affect all of Israel.
What does that say of me today. God doesn't think anything different of my sins. They still make Him furious! However, I can be thankful that I am forgiven through Christ. Only through Him am I made clean. Thanks be to God!
